The teachers who work at LIFPA Don Bosco Saint John are recruited in France. LIFPA Don Bosco Saint John is under the supervision of the Salesians of Don Bosco France.

Geographic location

Urban charm. Authentic story. Natural beauty. In the city of Saint John, you will be captivated by the 19th century architecture, Canada’s oldest public market, the harbour and the vastness of the parks and green spaces. In the heart of the city, you’ll fall under the spell of King Square, a classic city park with a bandstand dating from the early 1900s.

The steep alleys and architectural heritage of the downtown commercial area, which locals call “uptown,” will lead you straight into urban discovery. Restaurants, cafes, art galleries, boutiques, theaters, museums and more are hidden in the old stone buildings.

Visit the historic Saint John Public Market with its inverted ship’s hull and walk down Prince Williams Street, lined with the largest collection of Italianate and Second Empire inspired commercial buildings in Canada

Located at the point where the Saint John River flows into the Bay of Fundy, the City of Saint John is a perfect blend of urbanism and nature. With 11 kilometers of trails, Irving Nature Park, which stretches across a peninsula on the bay, is a change of scenery that makes you forget that the city is nearby.

Rockwood Park, one of the largest urban parks in North America, has something for everyone with kayaking, rock climbing, biking, hiking, golf, camping and a pavilion with restaurant. A stop at the famous reversing rapids, where the powerful tides of the Bay of Fundy push back the current of the Saint John River.
